On June 4th, hosted at the stand of Regione Veneto during the transport logistic exhibition fair in Munich – one of the most inspiring events for the global logistics community – Europlatforms held its 46th General Assembly to discuss the Association’s path forward.
President Alberto Milotti and General Secretary Andrea Ballarin welcomed members with a special greeting from Elisa De Berti, Vice President of the Veneto Region. Representatives of the EEIG met to review key points of the European logistics agenda, to set priorities for upcoming initiatives, and in particular to prepare for our participation in the Southern Europe Multimodal Summit, to be held in Madrid on 25th September.
Discussions focused on enhancing collaboration across multimodal networks, advancing sustainability targets in line with the new TEN‑T framework and fostering member expertise through targeted working groups. Thanks to the valuable insights and support of Agnieszka Hipś and Henryk Dyjas (CLIP Group), Antonio Nabo Martins (APAT – Associação dos Transitários de Portugal), Juan Manuel Cabo (ACTE), Steffen Nestler and Thomas Nobel (Deutsche GVZ‑Gesellschaft mbH), Janne Lausvaara (LIMOWA), and Dimitris Katsochis (EESYM), we have a clear roadmap for the months ahead.
We extend our gratitude to all participants for their contributions and look forward to driving forward our shared goals of decarbonization, digitalisation and seamless multimodal connectivity across Europe.
